Nikhil Mahashabde from Mount Roskill Grammar School and Liam Ellis from Hutt Valley High School have achieved oustanding success at the Taiwan International Science Fair. 

Six students have won travel awards at the Genesis Energy Realise the Dream event.

Four students will be attending the Beijing Youth Science Creation Competition from 17-23 March sponsored by Asia New Zealand Foundation .  They are Rebecca van Rooyen and Nicole Steele from Morrinsville College, Samantha Stevenson from Kerikeri High School and Kevin Huang from Mt Roskill Grammar School.

Two students will be attending the Taiwan International Science Fair from 30 January - 7 February sponsored by DairyNZ and the Royal Society.  They are Liam Ellis from Hutt Valley High School and Nikhil Mahashabde from Mt Roskill Grammar School.

The Genesis Energy Leadership Award was won by Samantha Stevenson of Kerikeri High School and the Genesis Energy Teambuilding Award was won by Stanley Roache from Onslow College, Wellington.

Other awards will be announced at the celebratory awards dinner in March
